Saturday ShoutThis week’s Saturday Shout looks back at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) show in Las Vegas. But did anything really set your pulse racing, or was it a case of “same old, same old”? Shout out now…

Enjoyed your CES report.

It seems cameras were introduced with 'gadgets' not related to photography, just to entice people interested in electronics in general and not really photography.

I hope PMA will have some real new Digital Photography Technology introduced.

I agree with Nicholas. Your coverage was great! The CES reminded me of a trinket shop. A lot of stuff you really don't need. Where the heck are some nice, fast focusing constant f4 zoom lense? It seems as if they can make every device except what we could have a real world use for. I for one was highly disappointed. Instead of filling a real need they want to try to convince me I have a need that I just don't know about, but they do and I need to buy their product to fill it. They'll have a LONG wait if they are waiting on me to buy their trinkets.
