Seculine Twin Link T2D
The new TwinLink flash radio trigger kit from Seculine comprises a 16 channel radio transmitter and receiver, which use a combination of both radio and IR technology to ensure the reliability of the triggering mechanism, whilst also giving a range of up to 150ft indoors and 600ft outside. The system can be used with studio flash systems from most manufacturers and incorporates a facility to attach the receiver magnetically to the case of your studio flash head or generator. The receiver also has a built in flash hot shoe so that it can be used to attach and trigger your standard camera flashgun, while being mounted directly on a tripod head – or even maybe a Gorillapod. The Seculine TwinLink T2D Radio Flash Trigger will be available at the end of August at a suggested retail price of £119.99 including VAT.
Seculine Press Release
New SECULINE TWIN LINK
The new TwinLink flash radio trigger kit from Seculine provides a complete solution for photographers to wirelessly trigger both studio or camera flash systems.
The system is complete with a 16 channel radio transmitter and receiver which use a combination of both radio and IR technology to ensure the reliability of the triggering mechanism whilst also giving a huge range of up to 150ft indoors and 600ft outside.
The system can be used with studio flash systems from most manufacturers and incorporates a neat facility to attach the receiver magnetically to the case of your studio flash head or generator.
The receiver also has a built in flash hot shoe so that it can be used to attach and trigger your standard camera flashgun, giving a simple, economic and effective solution to creative lighting, especially with its facility to be mounted directly onto a tripod head – or even maybe a Gorillapod.
The transmitter slides neatly on to the hot shoe mount of your camera, taking the shutter signal directly from the built in connector, however if you do still need to use an on camera flash the TwinLink is supplied with a separate adhesive hot shoe mount so that the transmitter can be easily placed in another convenient location and connected using the supplied sync cord.
Seculine TwinLink T2D Radio Flash Trigger will be available at the end of August at a Suggested retail Price of £119.99 inc Vat.

DON'T BUY ONE!
Mine arrived without a battery cover for the transmitter, which was a pain, so I made one out of plastic. I emailed the company for a replacement and they said they were unable to send one (!!!!!) and so I have to put up with a crap looking transmitter as there's sellotape around it. But that;s not the worst part. This system will only fire one flash at a time. I have two receivers, on the same channel. Tried everything but no cigar. The signal seems to alternate between the two. What a TOTAL waste of money. Either but a cheap one off ebay or if you want to spend significant money don't waste it on these - get some pocket wizards.

UPDATE: To their credit, Seculine finally did agree to send me a battery cover, which I have now received. Still haven't solved the flashing issue. Considering cutting my losses and buying another receiver in the hope that I might have more luck. urghhh. annoying!

Purchased through B&H. Everything works like a champ for me and able to pull off multiple flash units with fantastic results.

Henao, sorry to hear yours doesn't work either. Was beginning to think my problem was a one off!
My update is that the transmitter has now pooped out completely. Replaced batteries. Took all the screws out and cleaned the contacts inside. Totally dead. Definitely a bad buy!

I've had tremendous difficulties with this equipment. Whenever I test it indoors, it seems very hit and miss. Outdoors (not that it should be any different) it mis-fires and is very poor

I have one transmitter and two receivers and I was up and running within minutes of opening the boxes. No problems whatsoever. It's not complicated equipment, very much self explanatory.

Out of the box did a photoshoot and for the most of it it works well, but a couple of hit or mis fires. Seems like it goes to sleep after a while and I have to go throught the motion of resetting it. When I use it again I will give a clearer explaination.

the timeout issue can be very frustrating when the lights are on stands. I set the trigger itself to a 5 minute timeout and the recievers to 30 minutes, therefore I experience no timeout issues.
In regards to claims of consistent misfires, you clearly have faulty equipment or tired batteries, if you,ve tested the batteries just send the TwinLinks back. the manufacturer will get you straight.
The alternating signal concept baffles me. The trigger sends out a signal with every click of the shutter. It has no way of knowing or caring if there are any receivers within range. It's only job is to send a signal. Every receiver's only job, if it's working, is to listen for a specific signal on a specified channel and fire a strobe if one is attached. Listen for a signal, close a circuit. The devices do not truly communicate back and forth with each other and there is no way for the equipment to "alternate" between receivers. one receiver or a hundred doesn't change the odds at all for a fire or misfire in any given unit. This must be random equipment failure involving a high degree of curiosity or a simple issue of two strobes getting triggered with their recycle time out of sync.

I've had problems with mine. When they work they work well but I've already had to send one transmitter back as it stopped sending a radio signal. Now either it's replacement/repair or a second transmitter I bought has stopped altogether. tried fresh batteries but it's as dead as a dodo. Then during a wedding one of my receivers decided not to work and I noticed the hotshoe on another receiver is falling to bits. They'rte going back for repair but if i have any other problems I intend to return the whole lot for a full refund.

I am using mine in a studio with Nikon 300 and Novatron 3-4 flashes. The system works great when I am shooting continually. As soon as I allove the system to go to sleep (not using for several minutes), I have difficulties waking the system up and starting again.I have to press the trigger manually 2-3 times and is up and running good again.
I purchased mine directly from Korea and I don't have a manual in English.
