If you are a Canon 50D user you could be very disappointed when you recieve this flash and find out that it misbehaves on your camera. To fix it means sending it to sigma for upgrade. If you contact Sigma Customer service you'll speak with Tom who is without a doubt one of the rudest customer service reps I have ever spoken too, I then spoke with Mark Amir (Sigma General Manager) who said I had one of two options: #1) buy another flash directly from them and then send the one I purchased from adorama in for a refund. #2) send mine in for repair and they'd do the upgrade adn try to send it back out as soon as possible.

See one of several links to the Sigma Press Release Date 10-29-2008 (Yes 2008) and places like Adorama are still shipping product that is outside older and not fixed.

and Adorama Camera out of NY is still shipping non-upgraded flashes.

Save yourself the headache and hassle, just buy the Canon!!
