Silver Pentax K-7
Pentax is launching a limited-edition silver version of the Pentax K-7 digital SLR camera, intended as a perfect match for Pentax’s FA Limited lenses. The silver-coloured body comes with a “golden section ratio” focusing screen (see our image gallery below) installed. The body colour is identical to that of the company’s FA Limited lenses, while the rear LCD screen has been endowed with a highly scratch resistant glass plate. The silver Pentax K-7 ships with the latest firmware version, which provides automatic CA and distortion correction for FA Limited lenses. Production run is limited to 1,000 sets.

The camera itself is brilliant. The only way it could be improved would be if it were a full-frame camera, I think.
The problem lies with Pentax's lens system. Their lenses are great, but need to expand their lineup.

That is exactly what Pentax Europe said last year: "when asked about Pentax DSLRs with a ‘full-frame’, i.e. 36x24mm sensor, Gabriele Remmers pointed out that they first needed to build ‘appropriate lenses’ before they could move on to another sensor format".

This looks so awesome! I am a current k-x owner and am considering purchasing a K-7. Looks so retro, and that is totally my style. Except it is only in Japan, and who knows how much it will cost!
