Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 Review
With a massive 3.5 inch touch-screen LCD and 5x optical zoom lens, the slim-line and stylish Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 certainly stands out from the crowd. With virtually no external controls to clutter the interface, the Sony T300 is instead operated almost entirely by touching the LCD screen. In addition the 10 megapixel T300‘s 5x internal zoom lens covers a versatile focal range of 33-165mm, the new intelligent scene recognition (iSCN) automatically selects the best settings for you, and you can connect it directly to a High Definition TV. Available in red, black and silver for less than £250 / $400, Gavin Stoker finds out if the Sony Cybershot T300 is the perfect fusion of style and substance.

I like very much the design. It's definitely not a pro camera, but It's look great for home use.

My DSC-T300 failed after under two years of light use. It started to vibrate like a cell phone...there are a lot of customer complaints and u-tube videos on the problem. Sony declined to recall the units and DSC-T300 owners are out of luck, even though Sony has encountered the same issue in previous Cybershot models and fixed them accordingly. Needless to say, I'm here searching for alternatives, and hopefully a company that will support their products.

My DSC-T300 just after the warranty expired would vibrate like the starting of a motorcycle . I had used the camera maybe 20 times that first year. I emailed Sony after seeing that this camera was doing this to alot of owners. They stated they knew of no problems of this sort, and nothing would be done. Sony the one and only that I use to love is now Sony the one I never buy! Over 300 dollars down the drain.
