I'm sure the EV is very small, but it really bulks up the camera.

Yes Dan, the EVF looks not cool. Cost nearly as much as the camera, 600 $.

For me the sensor is to small, I should rather go for the Nex 6. For the rest a good looking nice (and real) compact camera.

Sony introduces its forward- thinking compact cameras named Cyber-Shot DSC RX 100II. It trade with 1-inch standard CMOS for a 1- inch backside-illuminated CMOS. It is well as RX 100 design with an accessories like an microphone, flash, wi-fi, LCD etc.

Are the video problems with RX100 solved in the new version? The older was impossible to use for video as EV flattered fom light to dark again and again.

When zooming an object with RX100 in a narrow distance the focus fall away when reaching about half of the zoom value. Is that fixed in the new RX100II

Sony differs service for RX100 made in Japan and RX100 made in China.
