Priced at £239 the Sony Cybershot DSC-W290 in black or blue is a 12.1 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom, making it the latest accessible route to taking perfect pictures.

Weighing in at a light 167g this camera houses features that punch above its weight. Encased in a stylish black metal body the W290 comes fully equipped with Multi Face Detection, anti-blink reduction, red eye reduction, smile shutter for capturing those cheesy grins, face memory so you can pre-select the face you want to focus on, and HD output and HD movie so you can view your photos and films on a HD TV.

The Sony Cybershot DSC-W290 also features advanced Dynamic Range Optimizer technology.
