Sony DSC-H2 Version 2 Firmware Update

Sony DSC-H2Sony have released a new firmware update, Version 2, for the new Sony DSC-H2 ultrazoom camera.

Sony has recently discovered a problem in the Digital Still Camera Cyber-shot DSC-H2 where SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo media may not be recognized.

When inserting or removing a Memory Stick Pro Duo made by SanDisk, the following errors may occur:
- Appearance of an error message to reinsert the Memory Stick.
- File error.
- Error indication “C13:01”

This symptom is easily corrected by the firmware update. A few number of units are affected by this issue. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 with firmware version 1 and with the following serial number:

It's a great camera to take photos with without the worry of getting dust on your CCD. Every time that I change my lens on my digital SLR camera I end up getting dust on my lens that ends up as specks on my photos. In my opinion you can't go past the new Sony DSC-H2 ultrazoom camera because you will never have the dust problems that I get on my Fuji Finepix Pro S2.
