Designed as a short telephoto prime for the Sony NEX system the Sony E 50mm f/1.8 OSS has an angle of view of 32 degrees and a 7-bladed circular aperture diagram for a pleasing rendition of out-of-focus backgrounds. Priced at $299.99, the lens will be available to Sony NEX users in December.
