I have a NEX-5R. The pictures are really good. Unfortunately, there are some major problems, which were now not improved in its successor. No optical viewfinder in bright light, it is not possible to read the display or to see whether the object is in focus. There is also no dial for the different modes. The menu structure is a disaster. The Wi-Fi connection is a gigantic disaster. NFC makes it maybe a bit better but that does not help my notebook. The 16-50mm lens is worse than the 18-55mm lens of the current camera. I think the two most important things with the optical Viewfindert and the dial for the mode Sony has not improved. Therefore I were to switch to another manufacturer, because the attachable viewfinder is much too expensive.
