Sony to Sponsor PAGB Inter Federation Cup

Sony today announced a sponsorship of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain’s Inter Federation Cup exhibition and competition. The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) co-ordinates specific activities for photographic clubs through 15 geographical regions known as ‘Federations’. The PAGB Sony Inter Federation Cup will be open to all of the PAGB’s 15 Federations – each group will hold its own competition where they will shortlist 30 - 40 entries to submit to the national final. All of the finalist’s work will be shown at an exhibition that will open in Kent in July, move to the West Midlands in October and Wales in November.

Sony UK announces sponsorship of PAGB Inter Federation Cup

6 MAY 2015: Sony today announces a sponsorship of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain’s Inter Federation Cup competition and exhibition.

The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) co-ordinates specific activities for photographic clubs in England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland through 15 geographical regions known as ‘Federations’.

The PAGB Sony Inter Federation Cup will be open to all of the PAGB’s 15 Federations – each group will hold its own competition where they will shortlist 30 - 40 entries to submit to the national final.

The winning image will be selected in June and the competition is being judged by members of the Kent County Photographic Association and the Southern Counties Photographic Federation. All of the finalist’s work will be exhibited at an exhibition that will open in Kent in July, move to the West Midlands in October and Wales in November, the exhibition will be open to both club members and general public.

As part of the sponsorship, Sony will be holding a series of seminars in conjunction with local independent digital imaging retailers. This will provide customers with an opportunity to find out more about Sony’s range of cameras including the multi award winning α7 Series or its line-up of premium RX100 compact cameras.
