Hi. Thanks for your review of the Spyder3Print SR. You mentioned many times that it pays to take your time when profiling and also that the Spyder3Print SR is faster than the PrintFix Pro. But I’m curious how long it takes to measure and profile a printer.

How long it takes to measure and profile a printer depends on the number of patches in the target that you're measuring (Spyer3Print SR gives you several choices of target to print and use for building profiles).

The standard 225 patch target takes between 2 and 3 minutes to measure.

The much larger 729 patch target takes between 8 and 9 minutes to measure.

After you've taken the measurements, it takes just a few seconds to build a profile.

It also takes time to print the target sheets before measuring. How long will depend on the # of sheets, and also, how fast your printer is, and what print quality you're using (must be the same for both printing/measuring targets and then, later, using the profile when making "real" prints). All sheets for a given "target" are printed in one batch before you take any measurements.
