Steves Digicams Reviews Kyocera Finecam SL300R

Mark Goldstein | Digital Compact Cameras | December 4, 2003 | 1 Comments

Kyocera Finecam SL300RSteves Digicams have reviewed the 3.2 megapixel Kyocera Finecam SL300R. Kyocera claims that this is the world’s thinnest 3x optical zoom digital camera, which virtually eliminates lag time and is capable of unlimited continuous shooting at an unprecedented 3.5 frames per second. Find out if Steve agrees…

“Evaluating the Kyocera Finecam SL300R is like judging a figure skating competition; both technical merit and style must be equally considered. The unique design, light weight, and small size of the all metal body allow it to be worn as a wardrobe accessory, turning heads as well as photographing them.”

Finally a review of this camera!

I am not sure what to make of Steve's conclusion though. It seems like he was holding something back. I think this camera is really in interesting in terms of design and form factor. I just wish it had a lens cover that slides into place. The pictures look decent although not as good as ones from my a70 that I have now. The movies don't look as good. But the unlimited time is nice I was looking for a camera that I could just have in my pocket to take pictures of movies of interesting events or things that I come across, and I think the SL300R will work well for that.
