Thames Valley Photo Workshops Press Release
Oxfordshire based skilled photographers Kevin Harvey ABIPP and David Ross ARPS BA(hons), are launching Thames Valley Photo Workshops – photo training for all photographers be you a beginner or semi-professional.
They are launching their ten week Foundation and Professional courses at a welcome evening on September 2nd at 6.30pm at the Images By Kevin studio at the Lamb Arcade, Wallingford, Oxfordshire (01491 837031).
David has been a lecturer in photography at Thames Valley University and full time wedding and portrait photographer. Kevin has over thirty years national and internal press photography experience which he now uses in his portrait studio.
To reflect changes in professional practice for the contemporary photographer and image-maker, the courses marries a range of digital capture and post-production techniques with contextual studies and professional practice. It provides a supportive learning environment that facilitates an advanced understanding of the creation and function of the photograph, and produces confident photographers that are valued by the industry for their knowledge and adaptability – hugely important in this fast evolving environment.
The courses are delivered by two professional photographers and support staff, all of whom are practicing photographers. This produces a unique culture and environment where students have unprecedented access to people who practice professionally.
The courses will be fun, informative, full of learning and make full use of the beautiful Oxfordshire towns and countryside as well as studio facilities.
