Toshiba Launches TransferJet-Equipped SDHC Card

Toshiba has just launched a new SDHC card that combines Class 10 memory with TransferJet close proximity wireless transfer technology. The new 16GB SDHCTM card will enable users of digital still cameras or camcorders to quickly transfer photos and videos to mobile devices such as tablets, notebooks and smartphones equipped with TransferJet adapters. The new SDHC card joins Toshiba’s line-up of TransferJet adapters for USB and microUSB ports as well as Lightning ports for iPhone and iPad. Toshiba will be exhibiting its entire range of TransferJet devices at IFA 2015 in Berlin in Hall 12, Booth 106.

Toshiba Launches TransferJetTM-Equipped SDHC Card

New SDHC enables close proximity wireless transfer of high resolution images and videos

Düsseldorf, Germany, 3rd September, 2015 – Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched a new SDHC card that combines Class 10 memory with TransferJetTM close proximity wireless transfer technology. The new 16GB SDHCTM card, THN-J301W0160E6, will enable users of digital still cameras or camcorders to quickly transfer photos and videos to mobile devices such as tablets, notebooks and smartphones equipped with TransferJet adapters.

TransferJet is a close proximity, wireless transfer technology that features simple operation, safe connection and very high data throughput. Touching two TransferJet devices together automatically initiates data transfer.

Security is ensured as users can specify and restrict which devices can connect within the software as well as physically controlling which devices are brought into proximity with each other.

The new SDHC card joins Toshiba’s line-up of TransferJet adapters for USB and microUSB ports as well as Lightning ports for iPhone and iPad. Toshiba will be exhibiting its entire range of TransferJet devices at IFA 2015 in Berlin, simply visit Hall 12, Booth 106 to learn more.
