Tripad Receives Raves at Consumer Electronics Show

As product success grows, company sees strong retail expansion throughout North America and International markets.

Dallas, TX (January 24, 2012) – Dallas based Tripad LLC, officially introduced two new retail products, The Tripad® and Tripad Traveler® during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 10-13, 2012 and the response was sensational.

“The feedback we received at the show was far beyond positive, and we were recognized as having genuinely innovative products that address immediate consumer needs,” said Kevin Kuykendall, CEO of Tripad LLC. “Our booth was packed with media and buyers for the duration of the show. Our products represent the innovative use of technology that brings people to CES. The traffic and buzz we created were a direct output of that. As an early stage company, that was so rewarding to see.”

Interest in the Texas-born Tripad products has grown exponentially over the last several months since we initially launched with a direct-to-consumer TV campaign.  The DRTV campaign provided Tripad with name recognition and enabled us to engage New Idea Sales and Marketing, Inc. as Tripad’s new master distributor in North America.  In the past two months, New Idea Sales has been able to secure agreements with photo giants B&H Photo and Adorama, as well as national retailer, Brookstone. The versatility of the Tripad Traveler was also recently featured in National Association of Professional Photographers (NAPP) and The Los Angeles Times, which was one of the few product features following CES that received a positive review. With a solid foundation and growing excitement in the U.S., Tripad has now launched both products in Canada and has plans to open in Europe, Australia, and South America at the end of the first quarter 2012.

Made in the Garland, TX from recycled glass and plastics, both Tripad products have been recognized for their ingenious simplicity for both the photographer and video enthusiast, as well as the traveler.

The Tripad turns any tripod into a sturdy, portable workspace for photographers, video and creative professionals by safely connecting a laptop to a camera. Plus, the Tripad allows for instant uploads of video and photographs to enable editing on the fly.

“Both professional and amateur photographers and videographers have told us they love the flexibility that the Tripad offers for the mobile studio. The fact that it sets up in seconds and gives a full 15” viewfinder from your laptop screen versus the 2” normally found on most cameras are huge benefits.  The slide out extensions for a mouse…and a cup holder are an added dimension that makes functionality a key benefit.” commented Kevin Kuykendall, CEO of Tripad LLC.

The Tripad Traveler extends similar benefits with a product that is designed to attach to the telescopic handles of any standard sized roll-on suitcase. The ultimate portable workspace, the Tripad Traveler offers productivity and efficiency to anyone with a laptop or tablet sitting in an airport, or anywhere they are on-the-go. It is small enough to fit inside a standard laptop bag or briefcase, and even has slide out extensions for a mouse and a drink cup just like the Tripad.

Dallas-based innovations expert Kyle Meadows developed the idea with the vision that it would help business and leisure travelers, especially parents and business professionals. “The alternative uses that have been raised complement the initial goal extremely well. I’m so excited about the reception The Tripad Traveler has received from consumers, and we know demand is growing. That is why we are always looking for new distributors and resellers.”
