Tonight, the Vienna Tourist Board is holding a 3D projection photography competition outside London‘s award winning Imagination building.Using cutting-edge 3D projection technology, the the Edwardian-era building will be digitally ‘reskinned’ and transformed into a living 3D taste of Vienna. The five-minute projection will encompass elements of Viennese art, culture, music, food and architecture. The Vienna Tourist Board is challenging photographers to capture the event, for a chance to win a weekend holiday for two to Vienna (including travel, dinner and accommodation). Vienna in London: 3D Projection Photography Competition.

The Vienna Tourist Board (VTB) are holding a 3D projection photography competition outside London‘s award winning Imagination building on November 8th 2010.

Using cutting-edge 3D projection technology, the the Edwardian-era building will be digitally ‘reskinned’ and transformed into a living 3D taste of Vienna. VTB are challenging photographers to capture the spectacular public event, for a chance to win a weekend holiday for two to Vienna (including travel, dinner and accommodation).

The five-minute projection will encompass elements of Viennese art, culture, music, food and architecture – evoking Vienna’s thriving nightclub, modern art scene, classical music, landscapes, and traditional coffee houses.

To enter the competition, photographers must upload their best photos of the event onto www.facebook.com/ViennaTouristBoard); where it will be judged by the online community. The winner will be decided based on the highest number of ‘facebook likes’.

When: Monday November 8, 2010.
Time: Countdown from 7.30pm - 3D Projection starts at 8:00 pm.
