At The Photography Show 2016, Wacom will be showcasing its range of pen tablets and creative pen displays aimed at professional photographers. Products on display include the Intuos Pro pen tablets, Cintiq creative pen displays and Cintiq Companion 2 mobile 2-in-1 multi-touch creative tablet. The company's stand will host a number of workshops including retouching tips and tricks, learning how to use the Wacom Color Manager with the Cintiq 27QHD, and a pen-versus-mouse workshop to highlight the key benefits of using a tablet for photographers. Wacom offers professional demonstrations and the ability to get hands on with its latest range of pen tablets and creative pen displays
Stand C111, The Photography Show 2016, NEC, Birmingham, 19 - 22 March 2016 – Wacom, will be showcasing its range of pen tablets and creative pen displays, aimed at photography professionals and imaging enthusiasts. Products on display include the Intuos Pro pen tablets, Cintiq creative pen displays and Cintiq Companion 2. Wacom ambassadors Ian Sayers and burlesque photographer/retoucher Tigz Rice as well as experts from Adobe and Datacolor will be present on the stand, providing expertise and knowledge to visitors on how to get the best out of leading digital imaging software using a Wacom tablet. There will be a number of exciting workshops including re-touching tips and tricks, learning how to use the Wacom Color Manager with the Cintiq 27QHD, and a pen vs mouse workshop to highlight the key benefits of using a tablet for photographers. Intuos Pen & Touch
Containing many of the original Intuos’ features, the new range offers 1,024 pen pressure-sensitivity levels for precision when adding detail to photos, multi-touch capability that allows users to zoom and rotate their work at the flick of a finger and four customisable ExpressKeys. There are four models to choose from including the Intuos Photo, which is accompanied by Corel PaintShop Pro and Corel AfterShot Pro for Windows users and Macphun Creative Kit and Corel AfterShot Pro for Mac users.
Intuos Pro
The Intuos Pro pen tablet range is the perfect tool for photographers and gives photo enthusiasts the power to produce professional results. The Wacom Grip Pen with 2048 levels of pen pressure sensitivity, a single gram of starting pressure and tilt recognition allows photographers to create with the accuracy and precision of traditional brushes and pens, whilst improved multi-touch gestures enable users to pan, zoom and navigate their work intuitively. The tablet’s ergonomic design ensures that photographers can comportably work for long periods of time.
Cintiq 27QHD
Wacom’s flagship Cintiq 27QHD and Cintiq 27QHD touch creative pen displays are the perfect tools for photographers. Both deliver the very best in pen-on-screen performance, spectacular colour and a whole host of features to enhance user workflow and comfort. Additionally, a large edge-to-edge glass screen provides a seemingly infinite surface with which to work on, enabling photographers to enjoy more space and freedom for creativity than ever before.
The 27-inch QHD widescreen displays 1.07 billion colours and 97 percent of Adobe’s colour gamut, perfect for professionals with colour critical workflows. Cintiq Companion 2 – mobile 2in1 multi-touch creative tablet
Nowadays, photographers require high performance hardware and software that enables them to create in a variety of environments and on the go. The Cintiq Companion 2 is a powerful touchscreen tablet for professional creators of digital content supporting creative freedom by offering everything necessary for productive work whether in the studio, customer offices, coffee shops or on planes and trains.
The Companion 2 works either as a fully-fledged Windows 8® tablet with all the creative input capabilities of a Cintiq or will connect via Cintiq Connect to the home or office Mac or PC and functions as a primary or secondary Cintiq display.
