i have found the mouse with my tablet to be as indespensible as the pen - i cannot use both a mouse and a pen at the same time and i always want less stuff on my desk, i can use the same control panel to adjust both the mouse and the pen
Having a second input device active can be a problem in some situations. When using a pen for fine work on a tablet a second input device can cause additional, unwanted input. You can avoid this by turning the mouse upside-down when using a pen.

I have found the Wacom tablet very good!
Only had it a week or so, and am still learning how to use it.
Would like some tutorial to see exactly what it is capable of.
