Hi bristolianish. Once you go into the www you should get a page come up saying British Weather Photographer of the Year. On it is a picture of three figures in yellow coats and to the side of them are two blue boxes, one saying Submit your photo now and the other View gallery and vote. Hope that helps.
My problem is every time I try to upload a photo I get told that it is more than 2MB when it's not. So frustrating!

I'm having major trouble with this site, it just will not accept my photo, it doesn't even say why, no notice that the photo file is too big, nothing. Just re-loads the page with the image upload box empty. Any ideas?

it takes a couple of days for your image to be accepted, but i wouldnt bother, its a joke. Have a look at some of the fabulous images on there, then look at the winner for this week! can someone please tell me the merit in that photo? its appalling. They got £100 for that photo that looks like it was taken on a bad phone. There is a way to fix the voting, if you clear your computers history you can vote again, this sad person obviously sat at the computer and voted for herself again and again, or got someone else to do it. Great competition guys, nice one.

you are right Simon -there is no way that should be picture of the week .... it doesn't even show anything that could be considered as 'weather'.

"Your picture Raindrops on car has been chosen as photo of the week for week commencing 9th August"

Your posts above, on the 11th of August, imply the "appauling" photo you are referring to as being my entry? I sincerely hope not! My image was taken on a DSLR and last I checked rain was weather related?

As for votes, I have an online page with followers of my work and I simply requested people have a look and vote via this page.

I work very hard with my photography to try and be unique in my approach and to produce good quality images so if you are referring to MY image above, I'm sorry but I do not agree.

Having said that, some of the winning photographs, (I'm hoping you were referring to another), should NOT have won and were quite obviously fixed voting. As I am not what you would call computer literate I had been wondering how some of them had won, your "fixing" theory makes sense. But I am proud to say that as far as I am aware, all votes for my image were genuine.
