We've been hard at work on a fresh new look for Photography Blog.

We've concentrated on making the site simpler, cleaner and easier to use, with an up-to-date design that looks equally at home on a large monitor, smaller laptop screen and the latest Retina devices.

We've also placed more emphasis on what we do best - bringing you in-depth reviews of the very latest cameras, lenses and accessories - something that we'll continue to do in the future.

If you have any suggestions for how we could improve the site further, or any specific likes or dislikes, then please let us know via the comments form below.

Likewise, if you experience something that doesn't work in the way that you expected, please leave a comment.

In the meantime we hope that you enjoy the new Photography Blog!

Sorry Guys. Thanks for your effort but Webdesign is realy not your "talent #1".

Never use Fonts with more than 20 Pixel in a Title. It's bad to read.
Content with maximum 14px. Never use more than three different Sizes. Never use Uppercase for Menus.
Just to Info: The "Black & White" Area is over.

I've restyled at afternoon your Site with "Stylebot" for Google Chrome in a more sensefull and comfortable way.

The Size of the Website is a nightmare!!! 4.3 (four point three) MB for the Frontpage? Do you kidding us? that's more then 10 times so much as usual! you are bankrupt, if you open this site with a smartphone without a flatrate for the internet.

One look in the Source Code of the Site and i can't stop to cry. Sorry Guys, in which year do we live? 2005?

This Homepage is for me as an hobby photographer one of the most important for news and reviews, until now.

The Design ist not more simple than before. It's not better on my Smartphone (no responsive Design - okay, i don't prefer responsive design, i prefere the pinch to zoom version).

Bottom line: I'm disapointed...i mean, i was disapointed until i have changed the whole CSS with my Stylebot. Now i can living again with your redesign...oh..no....my redesign :D :D :D

Very difficult to read. Happy you maintained the white background, but the older layout (and font in particular) was far easier on the eyes.

looks like for the visually impaired

Sorry, but this just too much in your face and is, quite frankly unreadable.

The type sizes are an immediate turn-off and trying to read an article is painful.

Curiously, your last format was just perfect for scrolling through and reading.

Why change? When you have a superb website that works and communicates really well, to tinker in this way is likely to alienate us daily readers.

As the man said, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

I have been registered on the site since you began and would hate to see you wreck it just to theoretically give it a 'new' look.

Readability and comfort are the important things along with, of course, you content which I enjoy.

I own a d7000. I don't need 24 mp camera. I need one stop ISO better quality.

Always good to renew, try to be better and provide better service. - I would advise: slightly smaller titles, justify text, separating content more advertising. - I like clean diseñor highlighting the image and the text. - Greetings and my support and congratulations for your work. -

Applaud the effort to improve the site. The links to the forums and photo galleries need to be more prominent. They are buried at the bottom of the page and are difficult to find - certainly they will be hard to notice by someone not hunting for them.

Clean look but text is too large. Preferred the old look.

Innovative - a click on the D7100 review opens a page with far too small letters and buttons that carry no links at all. What a progress!!!

This new "design" is awful.

7:03 am - Friday, April 19, 2013

The new font is hideous, making text difficult to read. It's too big too..

#22 JPOpperman

Please, why did you change the website, the layout was so perfect with images of the latest reviews on top and the layout of the tests etc. Sorry, this design really makes it difficult for me to understand the site.

You waste so much space for nothing. Make a more compact Design for a better overview. And please, use smaller fonts and better readable fonts. Or change the design to the old one ;-)

Look "great" in my 22inch Led monitor full HD 1920x1080 pixel, look "realy bad" in my 17inch laptop Res 1440x900 pixel.

New design is o.k. if you are blind or have a really really big problems with your eyesight. Old design was much much better and easier to read!

#27 AC. Brown

Sorry ... Love your content. Strongly dislike the redesign. Much more difficult to read. Please make it possible to go back to the previous design. If that's not possible, please change the font types and sizes as noted by many others prior to my post. Good luck, and thanks for the great information.

This is a the best and most informative photography site that I am aware of. A great deal of work must go into it - and I am sure that much thought went into the new design. Bearing that in mind, it seems churlish to moan, but like many others I do feel that the new look is a backward step. Someone else used the expression 'in your face' and this expresses my feelings too. The sense of 'quality' seems to have gone. Perhaps it needs a rethink.

Welcome to it? You certainly are - I don't want it.
I'm with everyone else who thinks it's a mistake (to put it politely). My eyesight's not what it was, but I don't need large print yet.
Honestly, when I saw it first, I thought my browser had thrown a wobbly.

Sorry, this is terrible. It really was good the way it was!

This seems to be designed for different screen sizes, and maybe it works on a tablet but on my pc the font is too big, and all headings, posts, sidebars and comments seem to be floating in emptiness. Harder to read and harder to grasp what it's all about.
Pity.

Simply put: it's uglier and less functional than it used to be. I find this change unexplainable.
