The Xs-Drive 2 Smart 2300 is a new portable storage device with increased memory card support and an OLED display. Transfer speed is improved, with a 1GB memory card copying in less than 4 minutes onto the hard disk of the Xs-Drive 2 Smart. The price for the basic version of the XS-Drive 2 Smart 2300 60GB is £99 / €149.

XS Drive Ltd who established the innovative concept of portable storage in 2002 with the Xs-Drive I, announces the launch of his 3rd generation of product called Xs-Drive 2 Smart 2300, whom mass production has started late March .

This new Xs-Drive device is called Xs-Drive 2 Smart 2300, and offers enhanced performance and more memory card slots at a lower price (Trade price is £63.50+VAT for the basic 60Gb version of the Xs-Drive 2 Smart)

The XS-Drive Smart is an easy two buttons solution and works with all current memory cards used with digital cameras, camcorders, MP3 and mobile phones, including the most recent types.

Because memory card prices have come down recently, Xs-Drive 2 Smart offers an affordable alternative for safety purposes, to back up high resolution images ‘on the go’ up to 120 GB.

Xs-Drive 2 Smart2300 has some superb features which supersedes his competitors:

-It frees memory card space for more shots, even on new memory card types such as MS Du0, MS Magic Gate, MS Pro & Pro Duo, Mini SD, MMC II & Micro, xD, without an adapter.
-Thanks to OLED technology, the LCD colour display clearly shows status information.
-Copying memory cards is twice as fast than the previous generation
(1GB memory card copies in less than 4 minutes onto the hard disk of the Xs-Drive 2 Smart)
-Files from memory card can be deleted directly from the Xs-Drive 2 Smart to avoid being reformatted on the camera.
-Xs-Drive 2 Smart offers a greater hard disk capacity (basic version has now a 60GB hard disk in place of the standard 40GB) for a lower price.
-An incredibly cost effective solution to store masses of photos at less than €2 ( £1.5 ) per Gigabyte
-A slot on the right side of the Xs-Drive 2 Smart allows battery exchange without having to unscrew and remove the casing.

And the one stat that matters more then any of those is how fast it takes to offload a gig of photos from the card to the HD. It seem's every time I read an article about these things they always leave that key piece of info out.

I just bought your device in Paris but live in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I have the following query: the battery is fully loaded and was just testes by a proffessional of batteries who said the battery is perfectly OK. However the device does not stay on at all, the battery level links from 3 bars to 2 and then to one and after a few minutes the device just turn down.

Can you help me on this?
