I’m really disappointed about the image quality. The Image noise is visible from ISO 200. ISO 800 and more are a disgrace for such a noble compact camera. I think that Fujifilm has promised in your presentation too much. The overall image quality is not bad. But i don’t like Pictures where are taken with flash. I think my purchase will fall on a different camera. With XZ-2, Pentax MX-1, PowerShot G15, PowerShot S110 or Panasonic LX 7, etc., plenty of alternatives exist.

On pixel-peeping, the image quality is disappointing. However I am reserving judgment until I understand what the settings are, the firmware version is, and your judgment about the test setup, camera and IQ.

I have owned 3 Fuji’s over the years, always liked the designs but never like the images they produce, I just find them a bit flat and lifeless. I haven’t tried any of the ‘X’ cameras and they supposed to produce really nice images but I just don’t want to take the risk again.

Not too bad - but the grey weather does not do it any favors - the camera does not produce contrast if the subject does not have any.
I have mine on order and I am not going to cancel it.

I don’t know. I’ve seen some really impressive photos from this camera. These didn’t look bad at all. Have to test it for myself!

Thank you so much for uploading the video! I actually thought the video quality would be worse..

Do you have time to make another video sample where you do some more macro or close up filming? Would be very helpful as I’m interested in buying this camera. There are not many good X20 video samples out yet so it’s really hard to judge. The photos looks great though!

I’ve owned this camera for almost 3 weeks and the image quality is great.  Make sure to shoot with (-2)noise level if shooting Jpegs.  Not sure what others complaining about.
