Ahead of our full review, here are 51 sample JPEG photos and a Full HD 1080p movie taken with the new Nikon V2 compact system camera.

There's also an ISO sequence from 160 to 6400 so that you can see exactly what the new 14.2 megapixel CX-format CMOS sensor is capable of.

Wow! I didn’t think ISO 6400 would do this well. Very impressed. I’d like it to be sharper than it appears to be, but I think this is more a focusing or lens issue. I’ve ordered the V2 and the 18mm, but to be honest, I’ll probably use the 300mm/f4. It looked great on the V1 and I think it’ll be even better on the V2. Thanks for the pix. Looking forward to your analysis.

Raw files? Dont bother without sample raw files please. A jpeg can be shot with any camera, and still look like crap. Doesnt matter if its a jpeg from a D800 or a Nikon V2. Please stop the jpeg-bullshit!
