We briefly got the chance to shoot with the new Olympus E-5 DSLR in sunny Cologne yesterday. As you'd expect from a camera that closely resembles its predecessor, handling is on a par with the previous E-3 model. Without further ado, here are 29 full-size JPEGs taken at a variety of ISO speeds which provide some idea of what the 12 megapixel E-5 is capable of.

It would be nice if those were taken without noise reduction on..It seems it’s very aggresive,slaughtering the details from the photos!

What lens was used? would like to see the raw files-seems alot of noise after ISO 400—very disappointing ..not sure if its worth the upgrade..or time to switch systems—
