Sony 55-210mm E-Mount Lens Photos
We spent some time yesterday shooting with the new Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS telephoto zoom lens for the NEX camera system. Here are 20 sample photos taken with the Sony NEX-5N camera and the Sony 55-210mm E-Mount lens.
The Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS is a telephoto zoom lens for the Sony NEX system that’s a perfect partner to the 18-55mm kit zoom. It features image stabilisation, quiet and responsive auto focus and a 7-blade circular aperture diaphragm.

Hey there!
Thanks for the pics… did you shoot all of them freehand? or did you use a tripod?

Good pictures. Is there any way you could tell us what the maxium aperture was at various focal lengths (e.g. at 55mm it is 4.5 at Xmm it is 5, at Xmm is is 5.6 and so on).

hi friend,
good photos from Parthenon !!!!!
i expected much better resolion from a 16 mp camera.
i suspect that you shoot those pics with a “preset mode” without any other further setting like white balance calibration, rgb and color temperature etc.
not much vivid colors and resolution even with “preset” mode if you have used.
i wish to to se some more pics taken with some more adjastements if you can.

the tech detail shows zoom levels up to 315mm. Do I presume they are 35mm equivalent values or are the images wrongly labelled?

Doesn’t look like it’s a very sharp lens, but I suppose this is to be expected with a kit lens.
