Correct if I’m wrong, but but if you’re shooting samples with the kit-lens, I’m not getting any wiser - I just know the limitations of the lens ??

If I’m not told which lens is used, then it’s difficult to use the samples for anything…

I like very much to read your reviews, but this is a serious flaw.

#2 surely most people buy the kit lens so it is good to test the camera with the kit lens.
It can be useful to suggest a better lens though.

I agree that most people will buy the kit-lens, but to make this site usefull for checking out a cameras potential, you have to see whats possible with a prime lens.
I think that many users of a blog like this are advanced users, who wants to know how much they can expect from the camera beyond the limitations of the kit-lens.
...and as the very least to tell which lens is used for the sample images. As things are now, even if I download an image, I still cannot see which lens is used.

What I find a mess, is that Sony gives not more attention to this sensor. I was expecting a real better body, similar to NEX-7 with that sensor. Instead Sony is boosting the 24 mpix sensor and tries to sell us the a6000 for a NEX-7 replacement. A program made with 5 cameras has been reduced to 2 models and one dslr style low end gadget. Sony is really going backwards. I am about to change the brand, i will not wait eternally for a real NEX-7 replacement.

I was not able to tell what lens was used with the sample images. Is it the kit lens that is included with the a5000? I was going to purchase the NEX 3N, but I saw this new camera and I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra 200 dollars. I am not an advanced user. If anyone can answer it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
