The Sony WX10 is a new slim and stylish compact camera, offering a 7x, bright F2.4 24mm wide angle lens and 16.2 megapixel sensor. We spent the day with Sony and their brand new WX10 at the picturesque Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire, England, ahead of its debut at the Focus on Imaging show.

Here are 15 full-size sample photos from the Sony WX10. Please note that they were taken with a pre-production camera and may not be 100% representative of the final shipping product.

Hi!! thanks for your pics. I am very interested to this camera but i can’t find any reviews on the net. In particular I would like to see how it does when compared to the HX9V. Apart from the zoom, has this the same image quality of HX9V? due to the better aperture of WX10, low light pics should be better!

Hi, i have both cameras. I can tell you that the quality is basically the same.
In low light conditions the WX10 catches more light, so the pics are better, even becouse this camera often uses a low ISO value comparing to HX9V.
Anyway, in very low light conditions, you could see in the pics made by the two cameras some pourple noise on the black areas (more on the HX9V).
The perfect camera for pics in low light condition is the WX5 (no noice at all), anyway the colours on the WX10/HX9V are definitely better.
