	Canon EOS 500D Test Got a Canon EOS 500D and played with it in the Zaanse Schans in the Netherlands. Video quality is overall acceptable, though you can clearly see compression artifacts in various places. Focus before you shoot, as the lens makes noise and the focusing process is not pretty. I will play with editing and colour correcting soon to see what can be done with the footage. What you see here is the footage as the camera delivers it. No colour correction, no fixes. 	Canon EOS Rebel T1i ( 500D ) First sample video ~ note :: please watch in HQ And here's where things get crazy—the T1i's video capture mode is almost exactly the same as the 5D Mark II, short of 10 extra frames per second at 1080p made possible by the 5D's beefier processing power. But still, shooting at 720p will serve most people just fine (and it's as high as you can go on Nikon's D90, keep in mind).
