Nikon AF-S Nikkor DX 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Review
Sharpness Cont... 2
Sharpness at 15mm
For these sharpness tests the Nikon 10-24mm lens was attached to a Nikon D7000 body, which in turn was mounted on a sturdy tripod. Slight tonal changes are due to slight changes in natural light during the session. The 100% crops represent about 1/400th of the total frame area.
The full frame at 15mm
At the 15mm setting, the image centre is sharpest at f/11. The border areas are fairly sharp between f/4 and f/11, even if they never quite reach “tack sharp” levels.
