Panasonic goes China and achieves cheapness and 3 stars of image quality. Here we go, I guess they got tired of success and quality.

The cam looks cheap and best, but will it suit newbies?

if It’s your first and only camera and just want easy point and shoot you’ve made the right choice and having a DMR-BW by Panasonic you’ll have some fun archiving stuff to disc HD 3D you name it,it records with little fuss. I love it what do you want for now price pc world £129

This camera exceeded my expectations very well in every way, except the feature I was really shopping for - good night sky pics.  It would help a lot to just describe it as somewhat less sensitive than the cones in your retina, and therefore unable to reveal the colors of an average Aurora.

I am thinking about this camera and Sony RX 100 (first version), still no idea what to choose…
