Excellent job on the review Gavin. I find it quite amazing that you can get such a high quality camera in this price bracket. The detail in the pictures was much better than I expected. The Duck with her little Duckling was a nice photo op too. I didn’t think the front LCD was going to be tried anymore, but I do find that many cameras with a Vari- Angle LCD don’t actually open to I80 Degrees. My G1 X falls a few degrees short. What good is a 173 Degree screen, at 7-8 feet away, it’s way off the mark. (They only intended it for the shooter’s use) The DV150F has a lot to offer for this price. I’m quite impressed. Adding Wi-Fi too makes this quite a deal. Samsung should also be very happy with your efforts here. You went all out with this inexpensive camera. I agree with your Four Star rating!

Good review, this looks like an interesting camera. I mostly use DSLR’s, but I’ll keep this in mind if I ever decide to get a smaller camera.

Love it, its an excellent beginner camera - however, I found that the battery has an extremely short battery life on mine - Charged it to full last night, clicked a couple of pictures, the next morning, even though it had been turned off, was empty again.

You have to consider that this camera came out close to two years ago, and it may have sat on the stock room shelf for much, or all of that time, meaning that most of it’s 2-3 year lifespan, may already be gone. Depending on the build, and the brand, you can get some more use out of it, but it won’t have the same reserve power as a new battery. I suggest buying an extra “Fresh” battery to have on hand, because without it, the camera can’t be considered reliable.
Buy it direct from Samsung to get a fresh one.

I have this camera and i have to say that it’s a good compact camera. However the exposure settings don’t seem to work properly on mine. Anything higher than 4s looks darker. I’m I the only one having this problem???
