It's amazing to think that a digital camera of this quality is now available for under £150. Olympus have basically taken their immensely popular Olympus µ[mju:] 410 Digital and 400 Digital models and taken some of the expense out of them, such as being waterproof, the quality metal body and the 4 megapixel sensor. What we are left with is the Olympus C-360 Zoom, which retains the same overall design as it's more expensive siblings, whilst being more affordable by removing features that you may not necessarily require. The C-360 Zoom is perfectly well-built in its own right, has a 3 megapixel sensor that will deliver prints up to A4 in size, and has the same kind of image quality as the 410/400 Digital. It is very much a point and shoot kind of camera - you can't choose the aperture or shutter speed, you can't manually set the ISO speed and you can't select how much sharpening or saturation you want to apply to your images. Instead the camera chooses the most appropriate settings for you. This will be ideal for people who just want to turn the camera on, press the shutter button and get a decent picture. It doesn't add anything new, but it doesn't lose too much in comparison either, making it a great carry-everywhere digicam that won't break the bank. Highly recommended for both photography beginners and point-and-shooters alike.
