The 16-megapixel Casio EX-ZR200 is the company’s new flagship compact camera in the Exilim line-up, boasting a 24-300mm equivalent lens, multi-shot HDR technology and Casio’s new Rapid Shutter feature. Other highlights include a HS Exilim engine with high-speed shooting and high-speed image processing, High Speed Anti Shake and High Speed Night Scene modes and a new Premium Auto Pro mode. Additionally, Casio has employed its high-speed burst shooting technologies to create an original technique that imitates the soft blur effect attainable using a single-lens reflex camera. The new Wide Shot function lets users create ultra-wideangle shots by panning the camera (equivalent to 18mm or 14mm wide-angle when converted to 35mm film format). Also capable of recording Full HD movies, the Casio EX-ZR200 will be available in Black, White, Red and Gold and will ship in April for $379.99.
