Iridient Developer 2.0 for Mac OS X

Iridient Digital has released Iridient Developer 2.0 for Mac OS X. This update brings a name change, dropping the “RAW” from RAW Developer, along with support for non-raw images, including most standard image formats (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, etc) as well as OpenEXR and Radiance HDR image formats. Other major new features include a redesigned image preview window with an all-new image thumbnail browser optimised for Retina screens; an all-new lens correction module with support for lens profiles, chromatic aberration and distortion correction; support for 39 new camera models, star ratings metadata and EXIF 2.3 information. This release is a paid upgrade for users who originally purchased a licence prior to 16 September 2011. Upgrades are available to previously licenced users for the discounted price of $45 by requesting a 40% discount code from sales@iridientdigital.com, while new licences can be purchased for $75.

Iridient Digital releases Iridient Developer 2.0 for Mac OS X

Pacific Grove, CA, January 17, 2013—Iridient Digital, Inc. has released Iridient Developer 2.0 an update to our critically acclaimed RAW image processing software for Mac OS X.

This release brings a name change, dropping the “RAW” from RAW Developer, along with support for non-RAW images, including most all standard image formats (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, etc) as well as OpenEXR and Radiance HDR image formats. Other major new features include:

- A redesigned image preview window with an all new image thumbnail browser optimized for Retina screens.
- An all new lens correction module with support for lens profiles, chromatic aberration and distortion correction.
- Support for star ratings metadata, new EXIF v2.3 information and IPTC/XMP metadata pass through.
- Support for 39 new RAW camera models!

The new RAW camera models include:
Canon: 6D, Rebel T4i (650D, Kiss X6i), EOS-M, S110, G15 and SX50 HS.
Nikon: D5200, D600, P7700, 1 V2 and 1 J2.
Sony: NEX-6, NEX-5R, SLT-A99 and DSC-RX1.
Olympus: E-PL5, E-PM2 and XZ-2 iHS.
Panasonic: DMC-GH3, DMC-G5, DMC-LX7 and DMC-FZ200.
Leica: New S (S3), D-Lux 6 and V-Lux 4.
Fuji: F800EXR and XF1.
Sigma: DP1 Merrill and DP2 Merrill.
Pentax: K-5 II, K-5 IIs, K-30 and Q10.
Samsung: NX20, NX210, NX1000 and EX2F.

This release is a paid upgrade for users who originally purchased a license more than 15 months ago (prior to September 16, 2011). Iridient Developer can be used unregistered in “demonstration” mode. When unregistered Iridient Developer is fully functional, however all exported images will be watermarked.

Iridient Developer 2.0 is a 64-bit Intel application and requires a 64-bit capable Intel processor (Core 2 Duo or later) and Mac OS X version 10.6 or later.
