Wacom at Focus on Imaging

Wacom will be showcasing its Intuos5 and Cintiq 24HD touch at Focus on Imaging 2013. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of exclusive offers, including £100 off the Cintiq interactive pen display and ‘Save the VAT’ on the Intuos5 range of pen tablets. Stand D50, Focus on Imaging 2013, NEC, Birmingham, 3 - 6 March 2013 – Wacom, the leading manufacturer of pen tablets, interactive pen displays and intuitive interface solutions, will be showcasing its Intuos5 and Cintiq 24HD touch at Focus on Imaging 2013. Wacom evangelists and representatives from Adobe will also be present on the stand. They will provide expertise and knowledge to visitors on how to get the best out of leading digital imaging software packages using a Wacom tablet.

Aimed at professional photographers and imaging enthusiasts alike, Wacom’s products offer photographers a convenient and effortless way to optimise their digital images on a computer. From correcting exposure problems and removing unwanted objects, to improving the colour of pictures or dramatically altering the style of a photograph, digital work is effortless when using a Cintiq 24HD touch or Intuos5. Wacom’s solutions will be on display for visitors to test and experience.

Additionally, visitors can take advantage of exclusive offers, including £100 off the Cintiq interactive pen display and ‘Save the VAT’ on the Intuos5 range of pen tablets. Meet the Experts
Regular presentations throughout the day cover topics such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Datacolour colour tools and the benefits of using a Wacom tablet. In these open seminar sessions the experts will be giving a selection of tips and tricks on how to perfect your photographic workflow, from editing your shots with the latest retouching tools, organising and rating your images, and finally getting colour accurate files ready for print or output in a range of different environments. - Richard Curtis – Digital Imaging specialist at Adobe UK
- Ian Sayers – Wacom evangelist, specialises in offering practical training solutions to the creative industry
- Richard West – Wacom evangelist, demoing creative workflow techniques

Wacom’s Range
The Cintiq 24DH touch combines multi-touch with Wacom’s renowned pen technology whilst delivering a host of features to enhance workflow and user comfort. The 24-inch HD (1920 x 1200) widescreen displays 1.07 billion colours and 97 percent of Adobe’s colour gamut, perfect for professionals with colour critical workflows such as photographers. The ergonomically designed counter-weighted stand allows users to adjust the incline and height of the Cintiq for multiple working postures, even allowing the display to extend over the edge of the desk and float just above a user’s lap. Furthermore, the frame around the screen is designed to be a resting place for the hands and arms, providing easy access to the Touch Ring and shortcut and modifier ExpressKeys™ located on both sides of the Cintiq. The Cintiq 24HD incorporates Wacom’s most realistic pen experience, featuring 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and 40 degrees of tilt control.

Aimed at digital content creators such as photographers, designers and artists, the Intuos5 has advanced features including multi-touch gesture support for intuitive input, an Express View display to facilitate an efficient workflow and wireless capabilities for convenience and comfort.
