Tamron has announced its intention to establish a new manufacturing subsidiary in Vietnam. According to the company, the new plant shall “expand the company’s overall production capacity in line with the continuing growth in demand”. Located in Hanoi, the 13,400-square-metre factory will provide employment for approximately 2,000 workers.
