Highlighting the creative aspects of B&W photography, the author introduces the reader to the basic rules of composition through his own images, and discusses the elements of a “photographic language,” which distinguishes creative photography from random shooting. He also covers digital post-processing techniques in great detail. The second edition has been updated to include Photoshop CS5, and features brand new images, new content, and a revised layout.
