‘Ephemeral’ is the first UK exhibition of photographer and artist Fabian Oefner. Hosted by East London gallery theprintspace, ‘Ephemeral’ celebrates the intersection of art and science in spectacular, split second moments. The 24 images intricately detail natural phenomena that appear in our daily lives, such as sound waves, liquid dynamics, forces of movement and magnetism. The exhibition opens on 6th March and runs for three weeks. The gallery is located at, 74 Kingsland Road, London E2 8DL.

As part of the Kings Place Words on Monday series, PhotoVoice has announced an illustrated talk by award-winning photographer Nick Danziger. "More than anything else Nick Danziger is a traveller, a storyteller and an explorer of places and situations that most of us would never dare to go near," the organisers say. Nikon will be exhibiting its new flagship digital SLR camera, the Nikon D4S, for the first time in the UK at The Photography Show from 1st – 4th March 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham. The company has invested in an interactive stand that will host the complete camera line-up, including the new Nikon Df, D3300 and the latest Coolpix cameras, as well as its range of lenses. The D4S will also be on display at the show before it officially goes on sale, following a development announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year.

'Kesh Angels is a solo exhibition of work by the Moroccan-born, UK-based artist, Hassan Hajjaj. Hosted by Taymour Grahne Gallery, ‘Kesh Angels presents a unique take on the vibrant street culture of Morocco and pays tribute to the biker culture of the young women of Marrakesh in a series of photographs, limited edition objects, an installation, and a video. The exhibition is also accompanied by a book on the last decade of Hajjaj’s work, published jointly by Taymour Grahne Gallery and Rose Issa Projects. Eivissa is a new series in a rapidly growing portfolio of work by talented international photographer Annelies Damen. Hosted by theprintspace gallery in Shoreditch, the exhibition features 66 new images captured from the city’s tallest buildings. The Daniel Blau Gallery in London has just announced its upcoming exhibition, "Eyewitness: Pulitzer Prize Winning Photographs." Opening on 14 February 2014, the exhibition features original vintage prints of famous photographs, many of which have documented and shaped our history. The show includes Robert H. Jackson’s photograph of the assassination of Lee Harvey Oswald (above) and Paul Vathis’ “Two Men with a Problem”, amongst many others. The prints will be on display until 29th March.

"The workshops focus on dawn and early morning photography - with our Paris and Venice workshops incorporating afternoon and evening photography walks also," the duo says. Nikon UK have announced their support for an initiative that sees the stars of Formula 1 unite for the Zoom auction of photographs in a bid to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. The drivers and team principals of F1 teams were asked to take a photograph of their chosen subject and those images will be signed and auctioned by Coys on Friday 7th February 2014 at London’s prestigious InterContinental London Park Lane, hosted by the BBC’s F1 presenter Suzi Perry. Along with the images, Nikon Coolpix cameras which have been signed by some of the sport's biggest names will also be auctioned off.

Olympus UK's latest pop-up event is an exhibition of vintage photographs by Denis O'Regan. Taken in the 1980s with an assortment of Olympus OM series film cameras, these images were all shot on the band's record breaking 1984 "Sing Blue Silver" tour. The show has been put together to celebrate the impending release of Denis's coffee table book "Careless Memories," which contains hundreds of exquisitely restored, previously unseen photographs, taken mostly during the North American and Japanese legs of the band’s tour. Open until 5th December, the exhibition venue is located at 15 Foubert's Place, just off London's famous Carnaby Street.
