Bogen Café is a new imaging workshop environment offered to college students in the USA. Steven Katzman, a self-taught photographer, author, and professor of photography at Ringling College of Art and Design, will give an evening lecture at each workshop. Canon has won three EISA awards. The Canon EOS-1D Mark III was voted European Professional Camera 2007-2008. The Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens was named European Professional Lens 2007-2008. Epson has been awarded two EISA accolades for its professional digital imaging products. The Epson Stylus Pro 3800 was chosen as the best European Photo Printer, 2007-2008. The Epson P-5000 won the best European Image Tank, 2007-2008.

AKVIS Sketch plug-in v5.5 for Windows and Macintosh converts photos to realistic pencil and watercolor drawings. The W200 is equipped with a 1/1.7-in SuperHAD CCD, which is ever-so-slightly larger than the normal 1/1.8-in sensors found in most other high-powered compacts. The SuperHAD design has slightly larger microlenses than conventional CCDs, which may help with light gathering. It also benefits from a Carl Zeiss lens, so hopefully the superior optical quality can make use of the additional resolution.”
