As the names suggest, the Olympus mju 1010 is a 10 megapixel camera, and the mju 840 an 8 megapixel camera. When used in conjunction with an Olympus xD-Picture Card, this model also features a new Panorama mode to enable the preservation of scenic memories such as nature in its full splendour. What’s more, the smart metallic body of the versatile µ [mju:] 840 comes in a range of four stylish colours: Starry Silver, Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Candy Pink.

The strapping µ [mju:] 1010 boasts 10.1 Megapixels and a 7x optical zoom (equiv. to 37-260mm) for exciting close-ups in stunning detail: retain the ability to zoom and crop later on a computer, as there’s plenty of room to edit without quality loss. This model also comes with the extremely light and ultra-slim LI-50B rechargeable battery with an increased lifespan of 25% – so you can concentrate on getting great shots without having to stop and recharge.
