After two public beta testings that provided feedback from over 40,000 users, Avanquest developed innovative technologies to offer users a complete studio for creating and making the best use of their digital souvenirs. Without giving up the basic features of mobility, sharing and security, the new version of SendPhotos enables users to edit, print and share images with friends and family by creating photo books, calendars and other items.

Create - the creative and printing capabilities of SendPhotos are backed by a complete technology for designing all photo projects using images uploaded to the site. Creating projects is extremely simple, ultra-intuitive and fast - a photo book can be designed in just 15 minutes with a few clicks. This approach meets the needs of users who want to create their project quickly using one of the many predesigned themes, as well as photographers who want to further customise and optimise their designs.

Import - as soon as users start to upload their images and before the upload is complete, SendPhotos generates thumbnails and lets work on a project begin, while the file continues to upload in the background. With a 5Mb ADSL line it takes just two minutes to start a 100Mb project.

Share - SendPhotos has evolved to allow the sharing of finished printed products. Users can send a photo book to their contacts and decide whether to give them the right to personalise or print it. It is also possible to design projects collaboratively without exchanging images in advance.

Secure - all images saved on SendPhotos can be kept safe without having to resize them or risk loss of image quality, for an unlimited period, as long as users order one photo product a year.

Interact - SendPhotos has enhanced its community aspect with more detailed management of contacts for sharing images and creations plus the addition of a comments system. The gateways between SendPhotos and the main community sites (Facebook, MySpace and Picasa) have been maintained in order to ensure the smooth transition of content. Avanquest has also signed partnership deals with printers specialising in photo products to ensure customers get the best quality, prices and printing times.
