BeFunky has launched a new campaign called “My Photos Are Mine,” promising a free premium BeFunky account to all Instagram users who do not agree with the latter’s new terms-of-service update. “BeFunky believes that photo-editing and sharing should be fun, which is why their users have full control over their photos,” the company said in a statement. “People are not required to register when using the service, and where they share the photos is completely up to them and easy to do… Now BeFunky is offering free access to even more features by giving away the premium account to anyone who has cancelled their Instagram account.”

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - December 19, 2012 - BeFunky, the world’s easiest, most powerful photo-editing application, is announcing its new “My Photos Are Mine” campaign, which gives users who do not agree with Instagram’s new TOS announcement a free premium BeFunky account.

BeFunky believes that photo-editing and sharing should be fun, which is why their users have full control over their photos. People are not required to register when using the service, and where they share the photos is completely up to them and easy to do. And unlike sites that give out a handful of vintage filters, BeFunky has more free features than any other provider out there. Now BeFunky is offering free access to even more features by giving away the premium account to anyone who has cancelled their Instagram account.

To take advantage of the promotion, post a screenshot of a closed Instagram account to BeFunky’s Facebook page or the @befunky Twitter handle with the hashtag #quitstagram and you will receive a free premium BeFunky account.
