Updated software for creating a photo slideshow gives users a new effect called Pan&Zoom

June 4, 2012 – Bolide Software, the developer of the popular software for collectors of books, movies and multimedia files, today announces the release of Bolide Slideshow Creator v. 1.4 – the latest version of the freeware editor for rapid creation of slideshows from photos with music.

The new version introduces a popular effect called Pan&Zoom that gives action to still photographs by slowly zooming in on subjects of interest and panning from one subject to another. The effect lets you highlight important details in a photo, show particular objects or people in a picture in more detail, or simply make the slideshow more dynamic. For example, in a photograph of a family, one might slowly pan across the faces of the children and come to a rest on the mother and father. Also the program features some minor improvements in usability because the goal of the developer is to make a program that even a baby can deal with.

The program enables rapid creation of impressive videos, which are ideal for presenting photos of family celebrations, memorable corporate parties, or tourist trips, demonstrated to the family, friends or acquaintances.
