CTPhoto Moves to Connecticut

CT Media/Photography Institute (CTPhoto Workshops) has moved to Farmington, Connecticut and offers inaugural workshops from 5 July - August. Located in the brand new facilities on the campus of Tunxis Community College, these one-week courses will focus on the “total experience” of digital photography. Joint teaching sessions provide interrelated instruction in digital photography, lighting, digital manipulation and digital printing. Note that these courses are for intermediate to professional-level students that already have an understanding of manual camera functions including f/stop, shutter speed and ISO film speeds. Students taking digital lab courses should also have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS3+ and Adobe Lightroom. CT Media/Photography Institute (CTPhoto Workshops) is now in Connecticut! Located in the brand new facilities on the campus of Tunxis Community College in Farmington, the inaugural workshops will be held from July 5 – August 1 and will offer intense one-week courses with a unique “workflow” format. Taught by 25 of the leading digital photography and computer masters, classes will focus on the “total experience” of digital photography. Joint teaching sessions provide interrelated instruction in digital photography, lighting, digital manipulation, and digital printing.

Prerequisite Knowledge
Courses held are structured for intermediate to professional-level students. Students must have an understanding of manual camera functions including f/stop, shutter speed and ISO film speeds. Students taking digital lab courses should also have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop® CS3+ and Adobe Lightroom®.
Who Should Attend
The individual courses have been designed by each of the Master teachers to raise the level of understanding of photographic techniques and ability of each student. In order to enroll, students must fall within the ability levels assigned to each course. In some cases, this may be waived for those students who have applied for individual evaluation and have been granted acceptance into the course.
