Olympus is kicking off their Documentary and low light month with the announcement of a new ambassador, Gabrielle Motola.

Olympus Announce Gabrielle Motola as Documentary Ambassador 

London, 01. December 2018 – Olympus is kicking off their Documentary and low light month with the announcement of a new ambassador. Motola has been using the OM-D system cameras and is currently preparing for her latest exhibition at the After Nyne Gallery in Holland Park, London. 

The exhibition is titled ‘Henge to Henge’ and is an adventure in images of Motola’s journey from Stonehenge in UK to the Artic Henge in Iceland – all via her trusty 250cc motorbike. 

Henge to Henge exhibition will be on display at After Nyne Gallery from 12 December to 20 December

Gabrielle Motola, Olympus Documentary Ambassador

Specialising in portrait and travel photography, Gabrielle focuses on long-term projects which examine a social element or issue. Her subjects frequently evolve across immersive journeys that take her around the globe. She studied psychology, cinema and photography at the University of Miami and the Spéos Institute in Paris. She moved to New York where she worked with Annie Leibovitz and Marc Baptiste. She then relocated to London, where she worked as an editor and colourist in motion pictures. 

Over the past five years, while living and working in Iceland, Gabrielle wrote and published her first book “An Equal Difference”. A collection of discussions, portraits and landscapes exploring the Icelandic mindset, An Equal Difference is inspired by our modern search for gender equality and shared humanity.
