Hama Press Release

Digitised in no Time

How often have we made a resolution to finally get the chaos in our photo boxes sorted and to digitise our pictures? Neither printed pictures nor negatives are meant for eternity. If you want to play it safe, you should start getting things sorted with Hama’s new “Combo” scanner.

Within five seconds, images up to 10 x 15 cm can be saved with 300 dpi resolution. The “Combo” scanner takes only ten seconds to scan a negative strip with six pictures. In order to achieve high quality images, the strip is scanned with 1200 dpi resolution and is then automatically converted into individual image files.

The data that is generated can then be transferred to a PC or digital picture frames or saved directly on SD, SDHC, MMC, MS or MS Pro cards. The “Combo” scanner has an integrated self-cleaning function, preventing small particles from settling on the scanning lens, which may occur though frequent use.
