Lenovo launches Inspire Me website to galvanise new entrepreneurial talent

Award-winning hardware manufacturer Lenovo has launched a new campaign aimed at inspiring the next-generation of entrepreneurial talent.

The Lenovo Inspire Me website is an exciting new resource that sees thought leaders from a diverse range of disciplines and industries - including technology, fashion and music - sharing their insider knowledge with the public.

What's more, Lenovo is running a competition to help incentivise people to explore the exclusive insights on offer.

Interested parties simply need to watch one of the videos on the Inspire Me site, and then enter a draw to win one of four all expenses paid trips to an inspirational location - entrants can select from New York, Tokyo, Antigua, or Portland (Oregon).

As well as the trip itself, winners will also enjoy a hefty £1,500 spending allowance, plus a brand new Intel-powered Lenovo Yoga 11S to help them make the most of the experience.

Some of the key influencers featured on Inspire Me include Jenny Griffiths of e-commerce startup Snapfashion, as well as James Gill, CEO and co-founder of real-time analytics company GoSquared.

Discussing the secrets of GoSquared's startup success, Gill cited inventor Kevin Dyson as one of his sources of inspiration, adding that he was amazed by how far his company had come since being set up by a trio of school friends in 2006.
"We started the company back at school - my co-founders and I were 15 I think at the time? We went to university for about five weeks before dropping out, and then raised some investment here in London. We've taken it from there [and] now we're a team of six people, [with] about 40,000 businesses on-board, which is crazy. It's a really exciting time for us - we're keen to go from 40,000 to 400,000!" Gill reflected.
