Panther Software Publishing has launched MediaCMS – a media content management system which is targeted at large photo, video and/or audio libraries. Files can be tagged, categorised, thumb-nailed, watermarked, previewed as part of an automated workflow. MediaCMS also allows media libraries to offer a web presence for their photographers with profiles, blogs, news etc via a set of optional modules.

Panther Software Publishing launches MediaCMS – an image, stock footage and audio web publishing and sales service aimed at medium to large libraries. Specifically designed for the media sales sector MediaCMS incorporates advanced, easy to use features for cataloguing, contextual tagging and the ability to generate instant global online sales for the modern library.

Media files can be classified using multiple categories and taxonomy while website visitors can use text or colour based searches or effortlessly browse assets by category, tags, libraries or material owners. An inbuilt license manager gives great flexibility to suit varying requirements. A theme engine allows for customisation of websites reflecting each businesses brand.

Taking online media sales into the present day the MediaCMS service also includes optional modules for discussion forums, blogs, groups and user submitted links. Members can be updated via an internal news module and MediaCMS also offers an external RSS feed for news syndication.

This feature rich service includes detailed user profiles which stores a client’s bio, latest media, albums or collections, group memberships, comments and so on.
