Intro2020 Press Release

With the rise in popularity of compact mirrorless cameras, accessories are also becoming smaller and more practical hence the Metz M Range. The New Metz Mecablitz M360 is a compact, fully-featured TTL flash that offers intuitive operation. Ideal for mirrorless compact cameras and DSLR users alike, the M360 provides a reliable companion for photographers who appreciate ease and speed of use. With this model, Metz is expanding the M-series range, following the success of the higher-priced M400 model.

With its compact size and low weight of just 190g, the M360 is easy to use, making it perfect for beginners and experienced enthusiasts. It takes up very little room in a camera bag, is quickly and easily attached to the camera and always ready for use. Only two buttons are required: The power button turns the flash on and off; while the second button displays the various operating states of the M360 (flash ready, exposure OK, standby etc.), it also triggers the test-flash. The camera determines the correct illumination of the subject via TTL (through-the-lens) metering and the maximum guide number of 36 at ISO 100 provides enough power for almost all lighting requirements.

The mecablitz M360 offers many additional features such as: Power zoom (24-105mm), fully swivelling head, extendable reflector card and integrated wide-angle diffuser (14mm). The included push-on mecabounce diffuser can be used to provide softer lighting.

The M360 can be synchronised to the first or second shutter curtain (if your camera supports this feature). Metz also offers the facility to install firmware updates via a micro USB socket, allowing you to keep the device up to date. The mecablitz M360 is available to fit Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus/Panasonic/Leica and Sony cameras.
